Essex Non-Profit Homes Inc. purchased 131 houses in Essex Ontario after the previous owner fell into receivership and many of the original occupants had left.

Homestarts has been hired by Essex Non-Profit Homes to manage these houses. Homestarts is responsible for renting out the houses, collecting rents and keeping the houses in good repair.
